One purse, one employee, one huge impact. When our very own Kindell
Keyes found $39,000 in a donated purse, she immediately brought it to
her manager's attention. This discovery made its way through the
Goodwill NYNJ organization, eventually leading to finding the donor who
had accidently donated the purse. Kindell’s honesty embodies the core
values of Goodwill NYNJ, which include “knowing your impact and
representing with respect,” that is, each individual contribution is
counted and recognized. Goodwill NYNJ demonstrates the respect for the
power of work. Despite not expecting anything in return, Kindell
received a 10% bonus of the money she found. One act of Goodwill goes a
long way   ..
